Reason Why Late Port Harcout Doctor Treated the Ebola patient LEAKED!!!

.

Doctor Iyke Sam Enemuo became infamous after it was reported that he secretly treated someone who was infected with Ebola despite knowing the risks involved.
Enemuo reportedly died on August 22, 2014 after he allegedly infected by ECOWAS diplomat Olu-Ibukun Koye who he treated in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
The late doctor has been castigated for being involved with the spread of Ebola to Port Harcourt and many have attributed his actions to a quest for financial gain.
However, friends of the late doctor have reportedly said that his only crime was being passionate about his profession.
According to Nigerian Eye, one of his friends, Mr. Anthony Azuka, said that the deceased had to be persuaded to start his own private practice
“At a point, he became much sought after in Port Harcourt. Every hospital wanted him to work for them. He was a workaholic, huge in size and full of energy, though he struggled so much then to make ends meet.
”When I saw how good he was on the job, I personally advised him to start his own clinic. He objected, but I continued to encourage him until he gave it a trial.
“I am not exaggerating, D’Iky, as we called him, was good in medicine. His workers and patients can testify that he was a genius in medicine.”
Another friend, Mr. Idaye Opi, reportedly also said:
“Iky was my friend, an acquaintance and also my client. I have known him for more than five years. Over time, I came to respect him for his hard work.
”I don’t know why Iky did what he did, but it is very bad that Iky had to die this way, because I knew Iky to be a responsible, hardworking, intelligent young man. I’m not happy that he ended his life like this.
“Iky, like any other working person, liked to earn his money. But I don’t see him as a criminal anyway.
“He was not that kind of person people are talking about, but he liked to see and have the proceeds of the job he did.”
Since Enemuo’s death, his wife and 3 month old child have been quarantined and his sister has tested positive for Ebola while a woman he shared a hospital room with has died of the disease.
The ECOWAS diplomat, Olu-Ibukun Koye, is alive and well.
