Medical doctor dies of lassa fever in river state

Chairman of rivers state nigeria medical association(NMA) Dr furo green,disclosed that a medical doctor with Braithwaite memorial hospitaln,BMH,Dr livy ijamala has died from lassa fever,making the total number of death to 3 in the state,the chairman said the doctor who died in the early hour of yesterday from the ailment had contact with patient infected with lassa fever,Dr furo said the late doctor has bin immediately buried in line with WHO,for death from contagious disease,he added that a team has visited the hospital forr assesment,and the hospital has been decontaminated while those who made contact with docter ijamala have been placed on observation,he said: .
